Our fees
The recommended fee for a standard 45-60 minute session with a psychologist is $300 in 2024. Our fee for a 50-minute counselling session is $240. The Medicare rebate for eligible clients is $93.35.
The fees for Autism diagnostic assessment (psychologist component) for a child under 13 years of age are between $1600 – $2400. This include assessment sessions, a comprehensive diagnostic report, liaison with other allied health professionals and a parent-feedback session. Medicare rebates are available for the Autism assessment.

Blossom Care Psychology is currently not registered with NDIS. Individuals and families can see us flexibly if they have self-managed or plan-managed funding. - Click here to know more.

Medicare Plans
- Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan
Your General Practitioner (GP) or Paediatrician may complete a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) with you and refer you to us for mental health disorder treatment. This includes mental health diagnoses of depression and anxiety, sleep problems, adjustment disorder, ADHD/ ADD, behavioural problems, ODD, OCD, sensory processing disorder or ASD.
Please book a long appointment with your GP to determine your eligibility and prepare a MHCP. Once a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral letter is completed, you will be able to get a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per psychology session. Online claiming is available to allow Medicare to deposit your rebate into your bank account.

- Medicare items under Helping Children with Autism
Children with an ASD diagnosis are able to claim rebates for up to 4 allied health assessment sessions (in total per child before the age of 13 years) and up to 20 allied health treatment sessions (in total per child before the age of 15 years). Please check your eligibility with your Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
